As a consequence of its normalisation, the digital is perceived by its absence. Infiltrated into our systems, only its error can reveal the dependence we have developed on its means. Bit by bit, it brings its character closer to that of a prosthesis, diluting the line that separates the body from the device. The same happens with sound. Its invisibility penetrates the boundaries of consciousness and becomes symbiotic with perception.

Connections is a web application and audiovisual interface that seeks to explore new interactions between human and machine, bringing the user closer to the mechanisms of sound creation and manipulation. It starts from the invisibility of both sound and digital media to create possible visual representations of these two elements.
